針對光譜我解釋的詳細一點：
以下是兩張網路隨意找的LED光譜

B: 470nm

B: 480nm
波長的確純粹紅 純粹藍
接著來看看葉綠素a吸收光譜：
http://www.ch.ic.ac.uk/local/projects/steer/cloroads.gif
明顯的可以看到兩條吸收突出的波段
分別在波長：440nm 660nm
一、二兩張的LED 完全落在葉綠素a的吸收低點
使用這樣的LED當照明 只是看起來有光而已
對植物來說 與放在暗室裡無異
所以有首歌是這樣唱的：
眼前的紅不是紅 你說的藍是什麼藍
人們說的天空藍 是我記憶中那團白雲背後的藍天....
