出入水管徑與流量的問題 - 水族

最近更新了我家主缸的過濾設備
設備如下：
In → Eheim 2213 → Eheim 2215 → Eheim 2217 → Eheim 1262 → 阿提卡1/10 →Out
( 伊 罕 三 兄 弟 )
前面的串接都是使用12/16的管徑，問題出在 2217→1262 這邊
如果照原廠的出入水管徑是：
Eheim 2217：進16/22、出12/16
Eheim 1262：進25/34、出16/22
我2217因為前面是2215的關係所以把入水改成12/16了
但是出水的地方原本是12/16，如果利用軟管轉接成16/22會有效果嗎？
另外，為什麼一般的設計都是進水管徑大於出水管徑？如果倒過來有什麼壞處？
因為現在我1262可能會改成：進水12/16(為了接2217)、出水16/22
這樣的話1262會損壞嗎？流量會差很多嗎？(因為進水從25/34改成12/16感覺差超多的)
還是有推薦更好的串接方式呢？
