小猴子的英文怎麼說? - 狗

常用的叫法應該是 Little monkey。在美國有首教幼兒數數的兒歌叫 Ten little monkeys (其較短的版本為 Five little monkeys)。見參考資料 YouTube 影片。

多數英英字典定義kitten, puppy 為 young cat, young dog,
而非 baby cat, baby dog，就像小孩與嬰孩的差別。
Kitten, puppy 應該指貓狗的「小孩期」。
同時 little 有「年輕 young」的定義。見牛津字典

另外要補充的是，
小貓的英文是 kitten，kitty 近似中文的「貓咪」。常用於叫喚貓咪用。
例如貓主叫喚貓咪吃飯時，一邊手拿飯碗一邊叫，kitty, kitty, kitty，
所有大貓，小貓，老貓，統統出來了。

沒錯，靈長類的嬰兒都稱 infant。
但這種翻譯太學術性，too academic，可能不是版主要的。

動物學上靈長類除人類以外統稱猿猴
而猴Monkey, 猩猩Chimpazee, 猿Ape 等靈長類動物
小時候也都稱為 infant 喔

they are just "small"

不是所有的動物的幼崽都有英文名字的...
所以除了Young monkey這個翻譯以外...
