以前看過一些研究是說活性碳因為其吸附分子與部分離子的特性

從活性碳的吸附原理可知,凡是大分子化合物,
特別是一些大分子有機物在溶劑中是很容易被吸附的;
另外,某些大分子量的無機化合物,像碘化物及汞化物,也能被活性碳吸附。

所以使用大量活性碳的話可能會有干擾缸內原先的系統平衡
特別是需要礦物質與特定無機物的草缸...大量的活性碳可能會降低部份的肥料效果
所以我的作法是在生態缸(草為主~魚蝦為輔)外掛底部加入少量活性碳
採取以生物性濾材+物理性濾材為主...搭配少量活性碳以預防環境突發的有毒可溶性雜質
簡單的說就是把把大部份的過濾功能交給硝化系統...
硝化系統處理不了的...才丟給活性碳去處理
