這兩個句子很像,不過為什麼第一個句子的 like 要用複數不加"s"
而第二個句子的 like 要用單數加"s" ??

原則上用法跟 and 老實說沒有啥兩樣
但是......
它是"介係詞"
所以說遇到它
沒錯，省略不要看
就變成
My dog ( ) likes cat food. [有這種狗?!]
My dogs ( ) like cat food.
相同用法還有 together with 也是
也是片語，翻作"以及"
兩者用法一樣啦
不過也有老師會教說
看到 as well as 這片語
動詞跟較遠主詞跑

至於逗點中的補充說明 在告訴我們 除了狗之外 我還有許多貓 或是一隻貓 此時貓的數量就與狗的數量沒有直接的關連了.

先省去不看，就變成：
